When celebrities are embroiled in criminal cases, the case becomes a high-profile one. Kannada movie star Darshan today got hauled in by Bengaluru cops along with nine other suspects. Each of them is suspected to be involved in a murder that happened in Bengaluru the other day.
The whole thing started when the police found a dead body in a drain in Bengaluru on June 9th (Sunday). The guy was identified as Renukaswamy, aged 33. Apparently, this Renukaswamy guy had been sending nasty messages to Darshan’s wife. That’s what the cops think led to the murder.
Darshan is no stranger to controversies. Way back in 2011, his wife accused him of domestic violence. He was sent to 14 days in judicial custody at that time. As recently as last year, he, parliamentarian Jaggesh and others were under scanner after complaints of possession of wildlife articles.
