The much-watched electoral battle in the Jubilee Hills constituency has concluded with a resounding victory for the Congress party. Party candidate Naveen Yadav clinched the seat with an extraordinary margin of over 25,000 votes, marking one of the largest wins in the constituency’s history whether in general elections or by-elections.
The impressive mandate reflects the strong public support currently backing the Revanth Reddy-led government in Telangana. The sweeping result reinforces the perception that the Congress administration continues to enjoy significant urban endorsement, especially in key constituencies like Jubilee Hills.
Initially, there were questions when Revanth Reddy named Naveen Yadav as the party’s candidate. But those doubts were put to rest as Yadav delivered a decisive win, further strengthening the Chief Minister’s political grip and strategic instincts.
On the other hand, BRS candidate Sunita, who was widely expected to draw sympathy and support as she contested in place of her late husband Gopinath, could not convert that emotional appeal into electoral success. The Congress wave fueled by Revanth Reddy’s growing popularity and assertive campaign overwhelmed the BRS at every stage.
The Jubilee Hills verdict now stands as a clear indication of the Congress party’s strong footing and the electorate’s continued confidence in its leadership.
