Janasena Releases Its Initial Statement on the Konaseema–Telangana Dispute

By TeluguFunda / December 3, 2025

The comments made by Pawan Kalyan during his recent visit to Konaseema have triggered a major political storm in Telangana. While interacting with local farmers about the damage to coconut plantations, Pawan Kalyan made a light-hearted remark suggesting that Konaseema’s greenery may have been affected by the “evil eye” of Telangana leaders. The comment quickly went viral, drawing widespread criticism.

Several Telangana leaders condemned the statement. Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy demanded a public apology and even warned that Pawan Kalyan’s films could face a ban in Telangana if he failed to retract his words. Congress MLA Anirudh Reddy also slammed the remark, calling it careless and irresponsible.

Amid growing backlash, the Janasena Party issued its first official clarification. The party explained that Pawan Kalyan’s words were made in a casual, friendly manner while speaking to farmers, and that they were deliberately taken out of context. Janasena emphasised that he had no intention of insulting Telangana or its people, and accused certain groups of twisting the remark to create unnecessary political tension.

The party urged everyone to view the incident in the right context and avoid escalating the situation further.
