‘Double Ismart’ is this year’s third release for Kavya Thapar of ‘Ek Mini Katha’ fame. After being seen in ‘Eagle’ and ‘Ooru Peru Bhairavakona’ in 2024, the hot actress will be seen romancing Ram Pothineni in the August 15th release.
In her latest interview, Kavya revealed that she happened to put on some weight due to a minor accident just before the shoot of ‘Double Ismart’. “The director asked me to shed some weight. I worked on myself for eight weeks before joining the shoot,” the actress says.
She describes her character in the Independence Day release as bold and assertive. Having seen the Trailer, we can’t agree more. At the same time, says Kavya, her character is intelligent and independent while being naive.
Has Puri Jagannadh cast her in a purely romantic segment, by any chance? “I have fight scenes, too. Doing action scenes has always been on my checklist. I enjoyed every moment of doing ‘Double Ismart’,” Kavya says, describing her co-star as “passionate, hard-working, and energetic”.
After ‘Double Ismart’, Kavya will be seen in Gopichand-starrer ‘Viswam’. ‘Ee Maaya Peremito’ in Telugu and ‘Pichaikkaran 2’ in Tamil are among her other popular titles.
