“India unbeaten in the ongoing world cup”. This is the most common headline Team India fans are accustomed to these days. As usual, India played against Sri Lanka today and very much as usual India is unbeaten in the tournament defeating the Lankans.

But if a team loses to a certain opposition sometimes it’s called a jinx but if a team jinx every time and gets thrashing defeats it may called the Sri Lankan team.
The trio bowling unit of the Indian team Siraj,Shami and Bumrah broke the backbone of Srilanka and bundled out them for just 55 runs which was a recent replica of final of the Asia cup.
Earlier Indian was invited to bat first after the Srilanka won the toss and for the very second ball of the match Madhusanka took the wicket of Rohit Sharma 4(2) which was their only moral victory in the match.
After that few cautious over Gill 92(92), Kohli 88(94), Iyer 82(56) made life of Srilankan bowlers a living hell reaching 357-8 after 50 overs.
Adding to the injury Indian Shami shattered Srilanka with 5 wickets , Siraj with 3 , Bumrah and Jadeja with each one wicket, only Mathews, Teekshana and rajitha reaching the double figures.
Srilankan Captain Kushal Mendia must have hated team Indian and only could have cursed himself for the loss.
