Hrithik Roshan Calls Jr NTR a ‘One-Take Star’ at War 2 Hyderabad Event

Hyderabad turned into a sea of excitement on August 10 as thousands of fans packed the venue for the grand War 2 pre-release event. The spotlight shone on Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, who team up for the first time in the Ayan Mukerji-directed spy thriller. The evening not only promoted the film but also celebrated Jr NTR’s soaring popularity, especially after his global fame from RRR.

Right from the start, Hrithik won over the crowd. Stepping onto the stage, he greeted fans in Telugu, saying, “Andariki Namaskaram. Hyderabad, ela unnaru?” The cheers grew louder when he thanked NTR’s supporters for their warm welcome. With a smile, he urged them, “I want to hear the roar of the Tiger fans,” and the audience responded with thunderous shouts.

Hrithik spoke warmly about his relationship with Jr NTR. “Tarak meeku Anna, naku Thammudu,” he said, meaning “Tarak is your elder brother, but he’s my younger brother.” He shared that they started as co-stars and grew into real-life brothers. Hrithik urged fans to keep showing the same love to NTR, insisting that he truly deserves it.

The Bollywood star reflected on their careers, saying, “I see a lot of myself in Tarak. We have shared similar journeys for 25 years. I think he sees himself in me too.”

Praising Jr NTR’s Work Ethic

Hrithik praised NTR’s craft without holding back. Calling him a “one-take, final-take star,” he admired how NTR delivers his absolute best in a single shot without needing retakes. “I have not just observed you; I have learnt from you. I will apply that in all my future films. Thank you for teaching me that, Tarak,” he added.
