In a touching display of solidarity and compassion, the hero of the film “Iddariki Kottega,” Hemachandra Reddy, has extended financial aid to Dileep Singh, a film distributor from Nellore who is battling cancer. The poignant moment unfolded during the press meet organized at Film Chamber to celebrate Rathasaptami, where Hemachandra Reddy announced a generous donation of ₹10 lakhs to support Dileep Singh during his challenging health battle.

The film “Iddariki Kottega,” featuring Hemachandra Reddy in the lead role, is a self-directed venture produced by Kullapareddy Suresh Babu under the banner of Krishna Creations. The film, known for its powerful narrative, recently had its opening ceremony at the Divine Sannidha of Film Nagar, bringing together the film fraternity to celebrate the occasion.

During the press meet, the news of Hemachandra Reddy’s benevolent gesture towards Dileep Singh emerged, creating a moment of compassion and unity within the industry. However, it was not without its challenges, as Dileep Singh, who had come to receive the cheque, unexpectedly fell ill again and was rushed to the hospital. In a symbolic move, the cheque was handed over to Naeem from Nellore on his behalf.

Addressing the gathering, FNCC Committee Member Kaja Suryanarayana expressed his admiration for Kullapareddy Suresh Babu, acknowledging not only his role in introducing his son as a hero but also his commitment to helping others. Suryanarayana commended the family’s philanthropic efforts, emphasizing the positive impact of initiatives like ‘New to Both,’ the film with a promising title that aims to make a difference.

Producers Council Secretary Prasanna Kumar lauded Director Suresh Babu for his diverse contributions to the film industry, from being a chamber exhibitor and distributor to a successful producer and studio member. Kumar highlighted Suresh Babu’s journey, noting his transition into a respected lawyer with an appreciable level of aggressiveness. He also congratulated Hemachandra Reddy for his early initiation into charitable activities.

Director Suresh Babu, while expressing gratitude for the support and presence of the film fraternity, emphasized the challenges of making a mark in the film industry. He shared his hope for Dileep Singh’s recovery, thanking Prasanna Kumar and Kaja Suryanarayana for their support.
