Gunasekhar Wraps Up Euphoria Shoot, BTS Video Released on Maha Shivratri

The shoot for Euphoria, director Gunasekhar’s upcoming Telugu film, has officially wrapped up. The production team marked the occasion by releasing a behind-the-scenes (BTS) making video on Maha Shivratri. Actress Bhumika Chawla, who plays a crucial role, has reunited with Gunasekhar after two decades since their blockbuster Okkadu (2003).

Produced by Neelima Guna under the Guna Handmade Films banner, Euphoria is a gripping social thriller that sheds light on contemporary issues affecting today’s youth. The film also features Sara Arjun, known for Ponniyin Selvan, in a key role.

Glimpse of the Film’s Intense Theme

A previously released teaser hinted at the film’s dark and emotional core. One scene shows a young woman, seemingly under the influence of drugs, struggling to balance herself in a metro train. Another intense moment depicts a girl being assaulted in a moving car by intoxicated men. The glimpse ends with powerful visuals of people protesting against sexual violence, holding placards that read, “Enough is Enough. We Can, We Shall, We Will.”

Star-Studded Cast & Technical Crew

Apart from Bhumika Chawla and Sara Arjun, the film boasts a strong supporting cast, including Nassar, Rohith, Vignesh Gavireddy, Likitha Yalamanchili, Addala Prudhviraj, Mathew Varghese, Adarsh Balakrishna, Naveena Reddy, and Likith Naidu.

On the technical side, Praveen K Pothan is handling cinematography, while Prawin Pudi is the editor. The film’s music is composed by Kaala Bhairava, known for his emotionally stirring scores. Nagendra Kasi and Krishna Hari have penned the dialogues, with Srinivas Kalinga overseeing art direction and Poojitha Tadikonda managing costume design. Lyrics are written by Chaitanya Prasad and Kittu Vissapragada.

With filming now completed, the makers are gearing up for post-production. The team has promised more updates soon, but the official release date is yet to be announced. Fans eagerly await this hard-hitting drama that aims to deliver a powerful social message.
