Suhas’ less-known movie, ‘Gorre Puranam’, is scheduled to arrive at the cinemas on September 20th. The actor of ‘Colour Photo’, ‘Writer Padmabhushan’, ‘Ambajipeta Marriage Band’, and ‘Prasanna ‘Vadanam’ fame plays a prisoner who defends his beloved ‘gorre’ that has inadvertently and unconsciously caused Hindu-Muslim friction in a village.
Produced by Praveen Reddy and helmed by Bobby (whose writing questions the media-enabled communal narratives), the film is a satirical courtroom drama with a seeming emotional arc. ‘Pelli Choopulu’ and ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’ director Tharun Bhascker has lent his voice for the goat, named Ram alias Yesu. Pawan CH is its music director.
Actor Suhas’ next theatrical release after ‘Gorre Puranam’ is titled ‘Janaka Aithe Ganaka’. Starring Sankeertana Vipin as the female lead, the film has been described as a “non-stop entertainer” by Dil Raju Productions. The film is an October 12th release in theatres. Produced by ‘Balagam’ fame Harshith Reddy and Hanshitha Reddy, the film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Bandla.
