'Eleven' has a haunting screenplay like 'Maharaja': Naveen Chandra

Eleven’ stars Naveen Chandra in the role of a cop. The investigative thriller, helmed by Kollywood’s Lokkesh Ajls, will be released in theatres in July or August. Its Teaser is out.

The makers are confident that the cop procedural will stun the audience with its screenplay. Naveen Chandra, known for recent hits like ‘Jigarthanda DoubleX’, said that he found the screenplay of the recent ‘Maharaja’ spell-binding. He suggested that, in terms of intelligence, ‘Eleven’ is no less.

The pre-production phase of ‘Eleven’ was so elaborate and time-consuming that a full eight months went into it. Each scene was shot separately in Telugu and Tamil so that authenticity is maintained. “This is a genuine bilingual,” Naveen Chandra, who is also doing Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’, said. D Imman has composed the music.

Reyaa Hari, Shahank, Abirami, Dileepan, among others, have key roles. Karthik Ashokan and Srikanth NB are the cinematographer and editor, respectively. Phoenix Prabhu is the art director.
