On Monday, actor and producer Dulquer Salmaan revealed the official character names of the much-awaited project directed by Dominic Arun. The film stars Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role as Chandra, marking her entry into the superhero genre.

Dulquer, who produces the movie under his banner Wayfarer Films, shared the update on his social media platforms. He introduced the central characters: Chandra (Kalyani Priyadarshan), Sunny (Naslen K. Gafoor), Venu (Chandu Salimkumar), Naijil (Arun Kurian), and Inspector Nachiappa (Sandy, the Tamil choreographer and actor). His post immediately created excitement among fans who have waited eagerly for this unique project.

Teaser Sparks Curiosity About Chandra’s Powers

The makers recently released a teaser, which fueled the buzz around Lokah even more. The video highlights Chandra’s extraordinary abilities. She flies, moves faster than bullets, and draws strength from her mysterious past. The teaser hints that her story stretches back to an ancient era when people rode horses, suggesting a deep and mythical origin for her powers.

The teaser also reveals that Sunny, played by Naslen, discovers Chandra’s superhero identity. Meanwhile, Sandy appears in a sharp new look as police officer Inspector Nachiappa. These glimpses push fans to speculate about the film’s larger universe and storyline.

Meet the Team Behind Lokah

Lokah – Chapter 1: Chandra showcases the efforts of a talented team of technicians and artists. Nimish Ravi handles cinematography, and Chaman Chakko edits the film. Jakes Bejoy composes the background score and songs, adding his signature powerful sound.

The makers brought in Yannick Ben, one of the world’s leading stunt choreographers, to design the high-octane action sequences.
