Divyenndu’s First Look as ‘Ram Bujji’ Unveils Fierce New Avatar in Ram Charan’s Peddi

On actor Divyenndu Sharma’s birthday, the team behind Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi unveiled the much-awaited first look of his character, Ram Bujji. Known for delivering a strong performance as Munna in Mirzapur, Divyenndu now takes on a raw and intense role in this village-based sports drama.

Director Buchi Babu Sana shared the striking poster, which shows Divyenndu in a fierce look. He stands inside a cricket stadium, eyes locked with focus, while spinning a cricket ball in his hand. The visual teases a solid sports backdrop, while the rustic styling and rugged setting highlight the rural spirit of Peddi. The film explores themes like ambition, rivalry, and action grounded in the Indian countryside.

Ram Charan Leads Peddi: A Gripping Village Sports Drama

Director Buchi Babu Sana, who rose to fame with Uppena, crafts Peddi on a large scale. The story centers on rural sports, emotional intensity, and strong rivalries. Actor Ram Charan leads the film in a dramatic rural makeover, complete with long hair, a thick beard, and a nose ring, revealing his deep transformation for the role.

The film also casts Janhvi Kapoor in a prominent role. Veteran actors Shiva Rajkumar and Jagapathi Babu also contribute significantly to the story. Divyenndu’s character, Ram Bujji, brings extra edge and drama, adding further depth to the ensemble.

Meet the Team and Mark the Release Date

Venkata Satish Kilaru produces the film under Vriddhi Cinemas. The legendary A.R. Rahman composes the music, giving the film a strong musical backbone. Cinematographer R Rathnavelu handles the visuals, while Navin Nooli manages editing.

Production designer Avinash Kolla builds massive sets for the film, including a grand train sequence that the team is currently shooting near Hyderabad. The makers describe this action scene as a visual spectacle and a major cinematic highlight.

The team plans to release Peddi as a multilingual film across India on March 27, 2026.
