Dil Raju Bags Telugu Rights of Toxic for ₹120 Crore on Advance Commission

Rocking Star Yash is all set to return to the big screen after the blockbuster success of the KGF franchise, and expectations are sky-high for his next film, Toxic A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. Directed by Geethu Mohandas, the film has generated massive buzz across the country. Scheduled for a worldwide release on March 19, 2026, the makers recently kick-started promotions with a striking teaser that further fueled anticipation.

The excitement around Toxic is particularly intense in the Telugu states, driven by Yash’s immense fan base and post-KGF 2 stardom. Taking advantage of this momentum, leading producer and distributor Dil Raju has come on board to release the film in the Telugu markets. As per industry reports, Dil Raju has acquired the Telugu theatrical rights for a whopping ₹120 crore on an advance-commission basis, partnering with KVN Productions for the release.

Commenting on the deal, Dil Raju stated that Yash has emerged as one of the most powerful stars in Indian cinema since KGF 2, with audience expectations for his next project steadily building over the last four years. The substantial investment reflects SVC’s strong confidence in Yash’s stardom as well as the film’s content, and the team is eager to present this ambitious project to Telugu audiences.

Toxic boasts an impressive technical crew, with National Award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi handling visuals and Ravi Basrur, celebrated for his work in KGF, composing the music. Elevating the action quotient, Hollywood stunt specialist JJ Perry of John Wick fame, along with National Award-winning action choreographers Anbariv, have designed several crucial high-octane sequences.

Directed by Geethu Mohandas, the film has been shot simultaneously in English and Kannada and will be released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and others. Jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is gearing up for a grand nationwide and global festive release.
