Dhurandhar Gears Up to Shatter RRR and Pushpa 2 Box Office Records

Bollywood’s biggest blockbuster of 2025, Dhurandhar, continues its phenomenal run well into 2026. Even after four weeks since its release on December 5, the Ranveer Singh–starrer spy thriller shows no signs of slowing down. With worldwide earnings already crossing ₹1200 crore, the film is still posting double-digit daily collections, proving its extraordinary box office stamina.

As the historic run continues, Dhurandhar is now eyeing some of the biggest milestones in Indian cinema. The film is just a few crores away from reclaiming the title of highest-grossing Hindi film in the domestic market, currently held by Pushpa 2. Additionally, it has set its sights on challenging the legendary box office records of S. S. Rajamouli’s RRR.

At present, Pushpa 2 tops the list of Hindi-language releases in India with a theatrical net collection of ₹830 crore. Released in 2024 during a similar festive window, Sukumar’s mass entertainer benefited immensely from the massive hype generated by its first installment, which had become a runaway hit in the Hindi belt.

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar has already amassed around ₹820 crore domestically. With the current trend firmly in its favor, the film is expected to comfortably surpass ₹850 crore by the end of its theatrical run, making its ascent to the top almost inevitable.

The ambition doesn’t stop there. The Aditya Dhar directorial is also closing in on RRR’s worldwide gross of ₹1230 crore. If it manages to cross that landmark, Dhurandhar will secure fourth place among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time, trailing only behind Dangal, Baahubali 2, and Pushpa 2.

With momentum firmly on its side, Dhurandhar is well on track to rewrite box office history and cement its place among Indian cinema’s greatest blockbusters.
