Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has turned out to be a historic box-office juggernaut. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has already crossed the staggering ₹900 crore mark worldwide and is on track to breach ₹1,000 crores within days, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of the year. The action-packed spectacle has delivered an exceptional performance across regions, creating unprecedented buzz nationwide.

Despite strong demand from distributors in South India, Dhurandhar was released only in Hindi and did not get dubbed theatrical versions. However, the overwhelming response from audiences across languages has prompted the makers to take a bigger step with the sequel.

In a major update for fans, Dhurandhar 2 is officially confirmed as a PAN-India release. The film will hit theatres simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on March 19, 2026, with the makers clearly stating that there is no change in the release date.

With the first installment already achieving massive success without dubbed versions, expectations are sky-high for the sequel, which is now positioned to set new benchmarks with its multi-lingual theatrical release. Post-production work on Dhurandhar 2 is currently underway.

Meanwhile, the OTT release of Dhurandhar on Netflix will also be available in multiple languages, further expanding its reach. The film features an ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Danish Pandor, with music composed by Shaswat Sachdev.

With its grand scale and nationwide release strategy, Dhurandhar 2 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Indian films of 2026.
