Dharmendra Discharged from Hospital: Doctors Issue Health Update

Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, known for his remarkable career and iconic performances, has been discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. The senior star, who has long been regarded as one of Hindi cinema’s finest actors, was declared stable and allowed to return home this morning, much to the relief of fans and well-wishers across the country.

Confirming the news, Dr. Prateet Samdani, who treated Dharmendra, said:

“We discharged Dharmendra ji today morning at 7:30 a.m. His family has decided that he will continue his treatment at home under medical supervision. He is doing better now and responding well to medication.”

The actor had been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on November 10 due to respiratory issues. Earlier, on October 31, he had visited the hospital for a routine health check-up, which sparked concern among fans after reports of his visit went viral.

As news spread of his re-admission, rumors began circulating on social media including false claims that Dharmendra had passed away. The misleading reports caused panic among fans and even led some national media outlets to carry unverified stories.

Reacting strongly to the rumors, Dharmendra’s daughter Esha Deol condemned the irresponsible reporting.

“My father is very much alive. It’s extremely hurtful to see people spreading false news about his death while he is receiving treatment. Please verify facts before sharing such sensitive information,” she wrote on social media.

Dharmendra’s wife and veteran actress Hema Malini also denounced the fake news, calling it “deeply disrespectful.”

“It’s shameful to declare a living person dead. Dharmendra ji is under medical care and improving. I urge everyone to respect our family’s privacy and stop spreading misinformation,” she stated firmly.

Following the family’s clarification, the situation has now been put to rest. With Dharmendra discharged and recuperating at home, fans have once again breathed a sigh of relief.

At 89 years old, the legendary actor continues to be one of Bollywood’s most beloved figures. For now, he will remain under home care as doctors monitor his recovery closely.
