‘Devara’, in its first weekend, grossed about Rs 264 Cr worldwide in all languages put together. In Share terms, the figure stood at Rs 146 Cr (with the Hindi belt contributing about Rs 16 Cr of this).
If the Box Office reports that estimate its theatrical deals value at Rs 180 Cr are legit, in the first three days itself, ‘Devara’ successfully recovered about 80% at the aggregate level. The figures stated above don’t include the GST component.
What happened after the first weekend?
The Jr NTR-Koratala Siva passed the Monday test (Day 4) successfully. Within just five days, the movie has started giving profits in a lot of territories.
Day 5 better than Day 4!
With the October 2nd public holiday approaching, the evening shows on Tuesday (Day 5) were extremely encouraging. The collections almost indicated that ‘Devara’ would be a super-hit.
Two markets give a good glimpse of the unfolding picture. The film collected a share of Rs 2.37 Cr in Nizam on Tuesday (Day 5), slightly surpassing its Monday collections. In the Hindi belt, ‘Devara’ has also shown steady growth, particularly in Mumbai. The film’s Hindi version has collected a total of Rs 14.66 crore in Mumbai distribution territory (Gujarat, Goa, and majority of Maharashtra and Western UTs) over the first five days of its release.
Overall, ‘Devara’ has achieved an 84% recovery in just five days, indicating a strong hold of its theatrical run.

The film has raked in an impressive Rs 38.72 crore by the end of Tuesday.It opened to a promising Rs 7.95 crore on Friday, followed by a steady increase over the weekend. Saturday saw collections climb to Rs 9.50 crore, and Sunday witnessed a further surge to Rs 12.07 crore. Even during weekdays, ‘Devara’ continued to draw audiences, with Monday and Tuesday collections reaching Rs 4.40 crore and Rs 4.80 crore, respectively.
Trade analysts are predicting that ‘Devara’ will continue to perform well in the coming weeks, potentially reaching the Rs 45-50 crore mark by the end of its first week. Jr NTR has truly arrived in the Hindi market!
