Deewana Trailer Unveiled: A Tale of Obsessive One-Sided Love and Emotional Sacrifice

The makers of Deewana have released the film’s trailer, offering a glimpse into an emotionally charged love story that explores the darker and more intense side of one-sided affection. Starring Harshith Reddy and Smeha Manimegalai in the lead roles, the romantic drama is written and directed by debutant Srikanth Sangishetty.

The trailer opens with a heartfelt dedication, “Dedicated to all one-sided lovers,” immediately setting the emotional tone of the film. It introduces Harshith Reddy’s character as a young man deeply and obsessively in love with Ammu, portrayed by Smeha Manimegalai. His devotion is highlighted through powerful visuals, including a tattoo bearing her name and his willingness to go to any extent to protect her.

As seen in the trailer, he fiercely defends Ammu’s honor, confronting and even attacking anyone who speaks disrespectfully about her. His love drives him to make extreme sacrifices, including distancing himself from his own parents, all in the hope of winning her heart.

However, Ammu does not share the same feelings. Despite facing rejection, he continues to stand by her side, caring for her and safeguarding her well-being. Whether his relentless dedication can eventually change her feelings forms the emotional core of the story.

Harshith Reddy appears in a completely transformed avatar, shedding his usual boy-next-door image to portray a rugged and intense lover. Smeha Manimegalai impresses with her lively screen presence, adding charm and depth to the narrative.

The trailer successfully captures the film’s emotional intensity and promises a moving cinematic experience filled with love, heartbreak, and sacrifice. Deewana is slated for a theatrical release on June 19.
