Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara Shoot Boat Wedding Scene for Mega157 in Kerala, Leaked Video Goes Viral

The much-awaited Telugu film Mega157, starring Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara, is currently filming in the scenic backwaters of Alappuzha, Kerala. A leaked video from the film’s set has taken the internet by storm. The footage shows the lead actors shooting what looks like a wedding scene on a decorated boat. Fans quickly shared the video across Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube, turning it viral within hours.

Wedding Scene Shoot from Mega157 Creates Buzz

In the viral video, Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara wear elegant, traditional white outfits and sit on a beautifully decorated boat. Yellow flower garlands cover the boat, while another boat carrying the film crew floats beside them. The production team chose Alappuzha, also called the “Venice of the East,” for its iconic houseboats and peaceful waters.

A local YouTuber filmed the scene from a distance and posted the clip online. His family and several onlookers gathered along the banks to watch the shooting. At one moment, the stars walk onto a nearby houseboat, hinting at another scene in progress.

Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara Reunite for Third Time

Mega157 marks the third time Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara have teamed up after their earlier films Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy (2019) and Godfather (2022). Director Anil Ravipudi, known for making family entertainers, is working with Chiranjeevi for the first time.

The film’s team began production in Mussoorie before shifting to Kerala for this key outdoor schedule. Anil Ravipudi plans to shape this movie into a full-on entertainer with emotional and comic elements.

More About the Film and Cast

Sahu Garapati is producing the film under Shine Screens, in collaboration with Sushmita Konidela’s Gold Box Entertainments. Archana is presenting the film. The cast also includes Catherine Tresa and Master Revanth in important roles. Bheems Ceciroleo is scoring the music. While the makers haven’t revealed the official title yet, reports suggest they might name it Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu. The film team aims to release it during Sankranthi 2026.

Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara’s Upcoming Projects

After scoring a hit with Waltair Veerayya and receiving mixed reactions for Bholaa Shankar in 2023, Chiranjeevi now focuses on the fantasy film Vishwambhara and another upcoming project with Srikanth Odela.

Nayanthara, who recently appeared in Netflix’s Test, has a packed slate. Her upcoming projects include Toxic with Yash, Dear Students with Nivin Pauly, and Patriot starring Mohanlal, Mammootty, and Fahadh Faasil, along with Mannangatti Since 1960, Hi, Rakkayie, and Mookuthi Amman 2.
