Megastar Chiranjeevi recently met Major Malla Ramgopal Naidu, the brave soldier who won the Kirti Chakra, India’s second-highest peacetime gallantry award. The actor shared his excitement on social media and described the encounter as deeply inspiring.

Chiranjeevi Hails Major Naidu’s Bravery

Chiranjeevi said, “I feel so delighted to meet the young officer who earned the Kirti Chakra in August 2023 for his extraordinary courage.” Major Naidu turned his act of valor into a beacon of hope for future generations. Serving in the Rashtriya Rifles, Major Naidu neutralised four terrorists and saved several soldiers during a daring operation along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir on October 26, 2023. President Droupadi Murmu personally conferred the Kirti Chakra on him in 2024. The honour made Telugu-speaking states proud because Major Naidu became the first from the region to receive this award.

The makers have planned a grand Sankranti 2026 release and already created buzz after releasing its stylish teaser, which shows Chiranjeevi in a commanding role. Chiranjeevi is also working on Vishwambhara, directed by Mallidi Vassishta, and plans to collaborate with Srikanth Odela for a new project.
