The world’s largest eco-friendly park, Experium, was inaugurated in Proddatur, Sankarpalli Mandal, by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and megastar Chiranjeevi. The event also saw the participation of Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, local leaders, and key officials. Spanning 150 acres, this park is a haven for nature lovers and a testament to environmental conservation.
Unique Features of Experium Park
Extensive Plant Collection
Experium Park houses 25,000 plant species sourced from 85 countries, including rare plants from Argentina, South Africa, Italy, Spain, and Australia. Some plants are valued at ₹1 lakh to ₹3.5 crores, making it a botanical treasure trove.
Architectural Highlights
The park features 20 stainless steel sculptures, each towering at 30 feet, and an Indian Hampi-style amphitheater with a seating capacity of 1,500 people. These sculptures cost between ₹5 lakh and ₹1 crore, adding artistic grandeur.
Man-Made Beach and Resort
A 12-acre man-made beach, developed at a cost of ₹50 crores, is a major attraction. Additionally, the park includes a natural resort island with 40 rooms, making it ideal for pre-wedding and post-wedding photo shoots.
Vision Behind the Park
The park was developed by Ramdev Rao, who dedicated six-and-a-half years to its creation. He aimed to establish Experium Park as an iconic destination for tourists and locals while promoting environmental awareness.
During the inauguration, Chiranjeevi commended Rao’s vision, stating, “This land could have been used for real estate, but Ramdev chose to create something extraordinary for nature.” He also shared how several plants in his home were gifted by Rao.
Chiranjeevi and CM Revanth Reddy’s Remarks
Chiranjeevi expressed his admiration for the park’s beauty and joked about using it as a film shooting location, especially during the monsoon when the greenery is at its peak. He called the park a perfect venue for weddings, receptions, and cultural events.
CM Revanth Reddy praised the initiative and assured governmental support for its growth. Both leaders emphasized the park’s potential to become a landmark tourist attraction and a symbol of environmental and cultural preservation.
