In a groundbreaking move for Indian cinema, the highly awaited Che Guevara biopic, titled “Che,” is scheduled to hit theaters on December 15. This cinematic portrayal of the iconic Cuban revolutionary is set to make history with its release in over 100 theaters across India.
Under the banner of Nature Arts, BR Sabawat Naik assumes the titular role and directs the film titled “Navva Matam Samarpana.” Jointly produced by Surya, Babu, and Devendra, the movie features an impressive cast including Lavanya Sameera, Pula Siddeshwar, Karthik Nuney, Vinod, and Pasala Uma Maheshwar, with Ravi Shankar composing the musical score.
Having received a U/A certificate after successful clearance from censorship, the film is now ready to captivate audiences with its vivid depiction of Che Guevara’s life and ideals. Sri Veeranjaneya Pictures Vizag K. Shankar is overseeing the extensive release of the movie.
Dr. Alaida Guevara, Che Guevara’s daughter, extended her congratulations to the film unit after being captivated by the compelling trailer and teaser. BR Sabawat Naik, the lead actor and director, expressed pride in presenting the life story of Che Guevara, the revolutionary hero and youth inspiration, who is admired by Power Star Pawan Kalyan.
He emphasized the careful attention taken to accurately portray Che Guevara’s struggles and sacrifices, ensuring an authentic representation of the historical context. Notably, the first look poster of the movie was released by Che Guevara’s daughter.
As part of the film’s promotional activities, BR Sabawat Naik visited colleges and was heartened by the positive response from the youth. With the teaser and trailer already generating significant buzz, the team is optimistic about the film’s reception.
“Che” is set to make its cinematic debut on December 15, gracing screens in more than 100 theaters and paying cinematic homage to the enduring legacy of Che Guevara.
