Marking Kiara Advani’s 35th birthday, the makers of Toxic treated fans to a striking new poster introducing her character, Nadia. The elegant first look has instantly grabbed attention, raising curiosity about her role in one of the year’s most anticipated pan-India films.

Kiara’s Mysterious Look Creates Buzz

The newly released poster features a captivating close-up of Kiara Advani with bold burgundy lipstick and an intense expression. Her graceful yet enigmatic appearance hints at a layered character, making Nadia one of the film’s biggest talking points.

Kiara stars opposite Yash as the primary female lead in director Geethu Mohandas’ period action drama. The film also features Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria in key roles, with Kiara’s character expected to play a crucial part in the story.

Kiara Responds to Viral Rumours

In recent weeks, rumours suggested that Toxic features bold romantic sequences between Yash and Kiara. Reports also claimed that the actress, who recently welcomed a baby girl, had expressed concerns over possible social media criticism and requested changes to certain scenes.

Kiara has now dismissed the speculation, stating that such reports are baseless. She added that audiences will understand the true nature of her character once the film hits theatres and hinted that Nadia has a much more significant role than many expect.

The VFX Debate Begins After Ramayana Trailer

Director Namit Malhotra’s much-awaited Ramayana trailer has finally arrived, offering audiences a spectacular first glimpse into one of Indian cinema’s most ambitious mythological epics. Spanning nearly four minutes, the trailer showcases breathtaking scale, powerful performances, and a promise of a grand cinematic experience, though a few visual effects still require refinement before release.

Yash’s Ravana Steals the Show

The trailer begins with the imposing introduction of Yash as Ravana, and the KGF star instantly commands attention. Sporting a rugged long beard, intricate golden armor, and a fierce screen presence, Yash perfectly embodies the mighty king of Lanka. His powerful appearance sets the tone for an intense retelling of the timeless epic.

Ranbir Kapoor Looks Convincing as Lord Rama

Ranbir Kapoor makes a graceful entry as Lord Rama, bringing calmness, dignity, and strength to the role. The trailer effectively captures his transformation from a compassionate prince to a fearless warrior. His expressions, body language, and action sequences reflect the divinity and heroism expected from the character.

Sai Pallavi Brings Emotional Depth

Sai Pallavi appears elegant and graceful as Sita. Her screen presence adds emotional warmth to the trailer, while her chemistry with Ranbir Kapoor feels natural and heartfelt. She seems perfectly suited for the iconic role, bringing both innocence and inner strength to the character.

Strong Supporting Cast Adds Value

The supporting cast also leaves a positive impression. Sunny Deol has been cast as Hanuman, though the makers have intentionally kept his character under wraps, hinting at a major reveal in the film. Meanwhile, Arun Govil, remembered by generations for portraying Lord Rama, appears as King Dasharatha and adds nostalgia and authenticity to the project.

Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman Deliver a Powerful Musical Experience

One of the trailer’s biggest strengths is its background score. The collaboration between Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman blends grand orchestral music with Indian classical influences, creating an emotionally rich and cinematic atmosphere that elevates every frame.

Visual Effects Need More Polish

Despite its massive scale, a few CGI shots fail to meet the expectations associated with a project reportedly mounted on a staggering ₹4,000 crore budget. While several sequences look visually impressive, certain effects appear unfinished and could benefit from additional refinement before the final release.

Emotional Connect Will Decide Its Success

Beyond visual spectacle, the film’s biggest challenge will be creating a deep emotional and spiritual connection with audiences. Mythological dramas succeed not only because of their grandeur but also because they resonate emotionally with viewers.

If the makers successfully polish the visual effects and deliver a compelling narrative that remains faithful to the spirit of the epic, Ramayana has every chance to become a landmark cinematic event. With its star-studded cast, world-class music, and massive scale, the film has all the ingredients to dominate the box office during the Diwali festive season.
