Bujji and Bhairava (2024) Review: Nagi’s Unique Promotions Through Animated Storytelling.

KALKI 2898 AD:  the movie which did very little revealing, now the revelation is expanding.

Bujji and Bhairava, as it was promoted, is a prelude to the feature film Kalki. This animated series was created to make us familiar with the world where Kalki 2898 AD will be happening. As the teasers suggest, Kalki happens in a technically advanced dystopian world where there is a utopia-ish place named ‘complex’. In this dystopian world, expectedly, there is a crisis of food and extreme class division. Therefore, the decoy was the only way for survival in this world.

Nag Ashwin did an exceptional job with the idea of creating an animated series as a prequel to the movie. Obviously, the buzz is high and it is not like any other mainstream promotional antics. Nagi is sticking to his universe. And, he calls it the Kalki Cinematic Universe. Let’s wait and see what is in the store.
