Buchi Babu Sana Clears the Air: ‘Peddi’ Was Never Narrated to Jr. NTR

Speculation has been circulating on social media that director Buchi Babu Sana originally narrated the story of Peddi to Jr. NTR before the project eventually landed with Ram Charan. However, the filmmaker has now put those rumors to rest.

In a recent interaction with a media outlet, Buchi Babu Sana clarified that he never narrated the story of Peddi to Jr. NTR. Addressing the ongoing buzz, he stated that the script of Peddi was always developed with Ram Charan in mind and was never discussed with NTR.

The director revealed that he had indeed pitched a different idea to Jr. NTR in the past. The actor reportedly liked the concept and asked Buchi Babu to develop it further. However, before the project could move ahead, the director got the opportunity to collaborate with Ram Charan, prompting him to put that particular idea on hold.

Buchi Babu had previously stated in interviews that Peddi was specifically written keeping Ram Charan as the lead. Reiterating the same, he dismissed the claims that the film was initially intended for Jr. NTR.

The filmmaker also spoke positively about the possibility of working with Jr. NTR in the future. While he has not yet finalized his next project, Buchi Babu said he remains open to collaborating with the star actor whenever the opportunity arises.
