Bigg Boss Kannada House Seized Over Environmental Violations

By TeluguFunda / October 8, 2025

The set of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12, located at Jolly Wood Studios in the Bidadi Industrial Area, has been sealed by authorities due to serious environmental violations. The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) found multiple breaches, including improper wastewater management, untreated sewage discharge, lack of solid waste segregation, and unauthorized use of diesel generators. Despite a 250 KLD sewage treatment plant being installed, it was found non-operational and disconnected from the sewage network. These violations posed a risk to the local environment and violated both state and national regulations.

Following these findings, the district administration ordered an immediate halt to all activities at the studio. Contestants were evacuated and shifted to alternative accommodations as filming is suspended until compliance is achieved. This sudden stoppage has caused significant disruption to the popular reality show’s production. Authorities also disconnected power supply to the studio to enforce the closure. The producers must now address the environmental concerns for the show to resume.

This crackdown follows multiple notices issued by the KSPCB over the past year, which the studio reportedly failed to comply with, leading to the decisive action taken this October 2025. The incident has sparked debate on environmental responsibility in the entertainment industry, highlighting the need for strict adherence to ecological norms even in high-profile productions.

This development leaves fans and the industry awaiting further updates on when Bigg Boss Kannada will return to air.
