Bigg Boss 9: Captain Tanuja’s Winning Plan to Win Hearts!

In the 10th week of Bigg Boss Season 9, Tanuja has finally become the new captain something she had been trying for nearly five weeks. Every time she came close, she would lose at the last moment. But this week, determined not to fail again, she pushed through and succeeded.

During the captaincy task, Nikhil was the ‘king,’ while Tanuja and Reethu were the ‘queens.’ All three had to hold their crowns, placed on their cutouts, with swords without letting them fall. First Reethu got eliminated, followed by Sanjana tagging a ball onto the sword. Later, Nikhil’s crown dropped too. In the end, Tanuja emerged victorious and became the captain.

Housemates Celebrate Tanuja’s Victory

As soon as Tanuja was announced the captain, Bharani lifted her up in excitement and congratulated her. The rest of the housemates also expressed genuine happiness for her. Emmanuel remarked that Tanuja usually ends up crying after every captaincy task, but since she won this time, there would be no tears.

Tanuja assured everyone that she would keep the house happy and would not create any trouble as a captain. She even recalled the mistakes she made during her time as the ration manager and promised not to repeat them.

An Emotional Win

After becoming captain, Tanuja shared how happy she was and so was Bharani, her biggest supporter in the house. She became emotional talking to him, saying that her family wouldn’t last more than two or three weeks inside the Bigg Boss house. Next week is the Family Week, and winning the captaincy right before that made her even more emotional.

Her journey in the captaincy race has been a major storyline this season. From the fifth week onward, she kept making it to the final stage of the task but failed each time. That’s why her victory brought joy not only to the housemates but also to the audience.

Tanuja in the Winner Race

Tanuja is already one of the top contenders this season, and this captaincy win has boosted her popularity even further. Even strong contestants like Nikhil and Gaurav admitted that she is mentally and physically strong. Along with Tanuja, Emmanuel and Kalyan are also being considered strong competitors for the title.

This week’s nominations include all housemates except last week’s captain, Emmanuel. It remains to be seen who will be eliminated next.
