There is no end to the number of films to which ‘Devara’ has been likened. Ever since its Trailer was released a couple of days ago, Netizens have lost no opportunity to draw parallels with other movies.
Immediately after the Trailer came out, shots bearing resemblance to those from ‘Acharya’ were cited. It has been said that the Chiranjeevi-Ram Charan characters from ‘Acharya’ have an echo in the Devara-Vara characters in ‘Devara’.

Parallels have also been drawn with the storylines of Gopichand’s ‘Bhimaa’, Jr NTR’s ‘Andhrawala’ and a few other movies.
Latest, a Bollywood movie has also been dragged into the comparisons game. Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Shameshra’, whose story involved a father-son duo, is said to be similar to ‘Devara’.
The film is Koratala Siva’s biggest bet ever. It will arrive at the cinemas on September 27th in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
