BB9 Shock: Suman Wins Thanks to House Support Fan-Favourite Contestant Out!

The “Ticket to Finale” task is currently underway in Bigg Boss Season 9, and every contestant is giving their best to secure the first finalist spot of the season.

All housemates participated in the first round, where Sanjana was eliminated early after losing her face-off with Emmanuel. Following her exit, the next elimination round was between Tanuja and Suman.

Tanuja vs. Suman Shetty – The Water Balance Task

Tanuja chose Suman as her opponent, confident that she could defeat him. Both were assigned the “Water Balance” task, in which they had to hold on to ropes with both hands and maintain balance while keeping water from falling.

When the buzzer rang, one housemate had to step in and choose whom to support. They would then turn the tap on the rival’s tank, adding water and increasing the difficulty. Sanjana acted as the sanchalak (referee) and called Bharani three times, Kalyan twice, and then Demon Pawan in sequence.

However, Bharani appeared determined to make Suman win. Each time he stepped in, he intentionally poured water into Tanuja’s tank, increasing her difficulty. Despite her efforts, Tanuja struggled and eventually lost grip, causing the water in her tank to spill. As a result, she was eliminated from the Ticket to Finale race, and Suman Shetty won the task.

Support Matters in the House

Tanuja had chosen Suman thinking he would be an easier opponent, especially since she assumed housemates would support her. But the opposite happened — their support worked against her. Audiences also pointed out that tasks depending heavily on housemate support felt unfair, as these decisions can change outcomes drastically.

Regardless, Suman successfully moved ahead in the Ticket to Finale task, while Tanuja exited the race.

As discussions heat up among fans, many believe that it’s acceptable if a top contender wins the Ticket to Finale. But if someone who isn’t expected to enter the Top 5 secures the ticket, the game dynamics could shift entirely. For now, viewers seem confident about the four contestants they strongly believe will make it to the Top 3 or Top 4.
