“Audiences Are the Real Marketers of My Films”: Naveen Polishetty at Anaganaga Oka Raju Pre-Release Event

The third song, “Andhra to Telangana”, from the upcoming Sankranti entertainer Anaganaga Oka Raju was officially launched at the film’s grand pre-release event and has instantly caught the audience’s attention.

Positioned as a true festive family entertainer, Anaganaga Oka Raju is all set to hit theatres on January 14. Starring star entertainer Naveen Polishetty in the lead role, the film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with Srikara Studios presenting it. The film marks the directorial debut of Maari, while Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead. Acclaimed composer Mickey J Meyer has provided the music.

The recently released trailer has doubled expectations around the film. With the release just days away, the makers hosted a grand pre-release event on Monday evening at Kakatiya Government College, Hanumakonda, amidst massive youth participation and festive fervour.

“Andhra to Telangana” Song Wins Hearts

Following the success of the earlier songs “Bheemavaram Balma” and “Raju Gari Pelli Ro”, the third song “Andhra to Telangana” has also emerged as a crowd favorite. With energetic music composed by Mickey J Meyer, the song features catchy lyrics penned by Chandrabose, especially the hook line “Andhra to Telangana… nuvvu rammante nenu raana”, which has already become a repeat-worthy line. Singers Sameera Bharadwaj and Dhanunjay Seepana infused the song with vibrant energy, adding to its festive appeal.

Naveen Polishetty’s Emotional Speech

Speaking at the event, Naveen Polishetty said,

“Even the pre-release event of Jathi Ratnalu was held in the Warangal region, and it feels wonderful to be back here again with Anaganaga Oka Raju. During Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, we were told the film would get only ten shows. Despite that, the audience made it a huge success purely through word of mouth.”

He added,

“For every film of mine, audiences themselves do the marketing. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who carries my films on their shoulders and takes them forward. The love you’ve shown me through three consecutive successes has given me immense energy. I wanted to return that energy with double the entertainment, and that’s how Anaganaga Oka Raju was born.”

Naveen revealed that the team had screened the film multiple times, including special shows for people outside the crew.

“They laughed continuously and were deeply moved during emotional scenes. Many even stood up and applauded at the end. This film is the result of our two-year journey, and if outsiders enjoyed it so much, I’m confident families will enjoy it even more during the festival.”

He concluded by saying,

“I may not have a film family background, but I have countless families supporting me. I will continue entertaining you till my last breath. With legends like Chiranjeevi garu setting the festive energy in theatres, Anaganaga Oka Raju will carry that energy forward this Sankranti.”

Director Maari on the Film

Director Maari expressed his gratitude, saying,

“If I am standing on this stage today, the main reason is Naveen garu. I’ll always be indebted to him for giving me this opportunity. I also thank Anudeep garu for introducing me to Naveen.”

He added,

“This is a perfect festival entertainer. The trailer received a great response, and the entire film maintains the same energy. Every scene is packed with humour, and families can watch it together and laugh freely. Once you enter the theatre, you’ll forget all your worries for two hours.”

The event was hosted by popular anchor Suma Kanakala and remained lively throughout. Several film personalities, including writer Chinmayi, singer Sameera Bharadwaj, actor Rangasthalam Mahesh, child artist Revanth, actress Sathyasri, cinematographer Yuvaraj, and art director Gandhi, attended the event and expressed strong confidence in the film’s success.
