Malayalam hero Tovino Thomas of ‘Minnal Murali’ and ‘2018’ fame, is gearing up for the arrival of ‘ARM’ in theatres. A technically rich pan-India fantasy film, the film is directed by Jithin Lal and produced by Listin Stephen.
The Premise
The trailer of ‘ARM’ hints at a storyline set against the backdrop of a celestial event. An asteroid strikes Earth, scattering celestial particles. An old woman narrates the tale of Maniyan, setting the stage for a thrilling adventure across different timelines.
The Characters and Storyline
Three distinct time periods (1900, 1950, and 1990) are introduced. Tovino Thomas plays three interconnected characters—Maniyan, Kunjikkelu, and Ajayan—each tasked with protecting a precious treasure of the land.
Technical Superiority
Jomon T John handles the cinematography and Vikram Moore and Phoenix Prabhu of ‘Kantara’ fame coordinate the stunts. The makers claim that the VFX is going to be top-notch.
The Cast and Release
Krithi Shetty of ‘Uppena’ fame, Aishwarya Rajesh (who is doing Venkaatesh-Anil Ravipudi’s movie too) have key roles. ‘ARM’ is set for release on September 12th in six languages: Malayalam, Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
