Andhra Pradesh on High Alert as Cyclone Nears Coast CM Chandrababu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan Lead Emergency Review

As Cyclone Montha approaches the Andhra Pradesh coastline, the state government has moved into high alert mode, mobilizing all departments to face the severe weather threat.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, joined by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, held an emergency review meeting with senior officials and district collectors to monitor the situation closely.

The discussion focused on real-time weather tracking, immediate relief and rescue operations, and preventive steps to avoid loss of life and damage to property. Both leaders emphasized that public safety is the government’s top priority.

CM Chandrababu Naidu instructed the administration to strengthen communication networks, ensure power and road restoration teams are ready, and make relief camps fully functional. He also stressed the importance of quick rehabilitation measures once the cyclone passes.

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan urged officials to coordinate seamlessly across departments and act swiftly to help vulnerable communities. He called for special attention to evacuations, healthcare, and essential supplies in coastal districts.

The state government has appealed to the public to stay calm, remain indoors, and cooperate with authorities during the cyclone’s landfall.
