Allu Arjun-Prashanth Neel’s Raavanam Confirmed by Dil Raju, But They’ll Start It Only After Current Films

Star producer Dil Raju officially confirmed that Allu Arjun and Prashanth Neel will team up for a high-octane action film titled Raavanam. His statement ended months of speculation about the project. However, fans must wait a little longer since the film will begin only after both finish their ongoing commitments.

Raavanam with Allu Arjun: What We Know So Far

For a long time, many believed Prashanth Neel had planned Raavanam with Prabhas. But since Prabhas couldn’t commit due to his packed schedule, Neel chose to move forward with Allu Arjun instead. Dil Raju finally broke the silence during the promotional event for Nithiin’s upcoming film Thammudu.

He confirmed that his banner, Sri Venkateswara Creations, will produce Raavanam on a grand scale. The collaboration has already created major buzz in the industry because of the nationwide popularity of Allu Arjun and Prashanth Neel.

Why Raavanam Won’t Start Right Away

Even though the makers have announced Raavanam, the shoot won’t start immediately. Allu Arjun and Prashanth Neel are currently handling massive pan-India projects.

Allu Arjun is now filming AA22, directed by Atlee, with Deepika Padukone and Mrunal Thakur playing key roles. Sun Pictures is backing the film, which promises to deliver a visually stunning experience. Members of the technical team, including VFX expert James Madigan and Spectral Motion president Mike Elizalde, praised the script for being extremely innovative and action-packed.

Meanwhile, Prashanth Neel is directing Jr NTR in a film tentatively titled NTRNeel, which will likely hit screens in January 2026. Once both Allu Arjun and Neel wrap up these current projects, they will kick off Raavanam.
