‘Jigra’, the Bollywood action thriller film directed by Vasan Bala, will arrive at the cinemas on October 11th in both Hindi and Telugu. The Telugu-dubbed version will be released by Asian Suresh Entertainment, which is jointly owned by Asian Cinemas and Suresh Productions. The distribution network has also released this week’s ‘Sathyam Sundaram’, the Telugu-dubbed version of ‘Meiyazhagan’ (Tamil).
‘Jigra’ is fronted by ‘RRR’ actress Alia Bhatt. Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt and Soumen Mishra under Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions, it has Vedang Raina as the female lead’s brother.
What is the film about? “Satya, a young woman who has endured a difficult childhood, now only has one person left in her life—her brother Ankur, who is imprisoned and tortured in a foreign jail. With no other options, Satya must transform into a hero and attempt the unthinkable: break him out of prison and bring him to safety,” says the film’s Wikipedia synopsis.
