Akshay Kumar hints some film industry colleagues are happy about his flops

Akshay Kumar, in his latest interview, has hinted at some people feeling happy about his flops in the post-pandemic era. From ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Selfiee’, ‘Mission Raniganj’ to ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, they all flopped.

In the interview, the Bollywood star suggested that some individuals are deriving pleasure from his misfortune. He didn’t take any names, though. He didn’t openly castigate his Bollywood colleagues but the expression on his face suggests that he is aware of how others are indulging in schadenfreude.

Akshay’s latest release is ‘Sarfira’. The advance bookings till Thursday night were so bad that it was deemed as nothing less than a disaster. However, on the release date today (July 12th), the word of mouth on the street might turn out to be positive as the day progresses.
