Adivi Sesh’s Dacoit Postponed New Release Date Set for Ugadi

Adivi Sesh’s upcoming love and action entertainer Dacoit, directed by Shaniel Deo in his debut venture, has locked its new release date. Initially slated for a Christmas release, the film will now hit theatres on March 19, coinciding with the Ugadi festival weekend.

Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and Suniel Narang under the Annapurna Studios banner, in association with SS Creations, the film stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead, while noted filmmaker Anurag Kashyap appears in a crucial role.

The newly unveiled release date poster sets a gritty tone featuring Sesh and Mrunal with intense expressions, as Sesh is seen aiming a gun from inside a car, hinting at the film’s high-octane action and emotional depth.

Earlier, the makers dropped a teaser that introduced audiences to the dark, intriguing world of Dacoit, showcasing Adivi Sesh in a grey-shaded, complex avatar that has already piqued curiosity among fans.

With its blend of romance, action, and suspense, Dacoit is one of the most anticipated Telugu releases of early 2026.
