The Trailer for ‘AAY’ was unveiled today in Pithapuram. The comedy entertainer will arrive at the cinemas on August 15th evening with special paid premier shows in the Telugu States. The full-fledged release from morning will be on the following day.
Narne Nithiin, Rajkumar Kasireddy and Ankith Koyya play three friends who are regarded as mental midgets in their Godavari village. While the second one has a known talent for comedy roles, the other two are entering a new zone.
‘Jathi Ratnalu’ plus caste:
The film’s lead characters share a comedic energy reminiscent of the 2021 hit, ‘Jathi Ratnalu’. However, the plot takes a divergent path. The trailer indicates a focus on caste, with dialogue highlighting caste identities. Debutant director Anji Kanchipalli has made this as a comedy; so, don’t expect a serious take on caste.
The film, with music by Ram Miryala and Ajay Arasada, is produced by GA2 Pictures.
