Producer Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures and director Lokesh Kanagaraj are preparing ‘Coolie’ for a grand theatrical release on August 14, lining it up with India’s Independence Day weekend. The film will hit IMAX screens and face off directly against Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s ‘War 2’, setting up one of the year’s biggest box office clashes.

Nagarjuna recently confirmed that he plays the main villain.
