Maa Inti Bangaaram Day 1 Collections: Samantha’s Film Opens Bigger Than Expected

Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s much-awaited family action drama Maa Inti Bangaaram has registered an impressive start at the box office. While trade circles had predicted an opening of around Rs. 12 crore gross worldwide, the film surpassed expectations by collecting over Rs. 13 crore gross on its first day.

The strong opening once again proves that female-centric films can enjoy solid box-office success when backed by promising content. Following the encouraging response to Rashmika Mandanna’s The Girlfriend, Maa Inti Bangaaram has further demonstrated that audiences are willing to turn up in theatres for women-led entertainers.

Directed by Nandini Reddy, Maa Inti Bangaaram was produced by Samantha under her home banner, Tralala Moving Pictures. Raj Nidimoru is credited as the creator of the film, while Gulshan Devaiah played the antagonist. The music for the film was composed by Santosh Narayanan.

With a better-than-expected opening and positive word of mouth, all eyes are now on the film’s weekend performance.
