Mukta A2 CINEMAS, which has 57 screens spread across 19 Indian cities, has announced a new offer, which observers are describing as “disruptive” in nature.
As per news reports on Tuesday, Mukta has introduced a festive offer by “capping all food and beverage (F&B) prices at Rs 99.”
“For the first time, the chain will cap all food and beverage prices at a maximum of Rs 99. By making food and beverages more affordable, the cinema chain aims to remove one of the most common deterrents for moviegoers,” wrote trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
It has to be seen whether the Rs 99 offer is a mere marketing gimmick. “They will probably give the Rs 99 option in small quantities on weekdays. No one is foolish enough to do it for all of their F&B,” a Netizen commented.
In Hyderabad, a Mukta Cinemas is present at Abids.
Founded by Bollywood filmmaker Subhash Ghai, Mukta also has an international presence with a six-screen Multiplex in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
