‘Kali’, starring Prince Cecil in the role of a depressed man who attempts to kill himself by suicide, is written and directed by Siva Sashu. The Teaser shows him in a dejected mood, seemingly because he has been taken for a ride by those he so dearly loved. “I don’t fit into this selfish world,” he despairs in the teaser, which has received Prabhas’ endorsement.
Naresh Agastya knocks at the door of the protagonist’s house. While he comes across as a stranger at first, eventually, he reveals himself to be someone who knows him in and out. “I am into the business of watching over people,” he says. Is he a God-incarnate?
Also starring Neha Krishnan, Gautham Raju, Gundu Sudarshan, Kedar Shankar, Mani Chandana, and Madhumani, the film has cinematography by Nishant Katari and Ramana Jagarlamundi. Jeevan Babu is the music director. Edited by Vijay Vardhan, its lyrics are penned by Ramajogayya Sastry.
