Suhas is back with an interesting new project, and this time, the actor is stepping into a world where tradition, romance and destiny come together. Titled Hide & Silk, the film has unveiled its title glimpse, offering a refreshing introduction to a romantic entertainer with a distinctive concept.
Following the success of Mandaadi, Suhas has joined hands with debutant director Rajendra Bala for this intriguing project. The film also marks the Telugu debut of Stone Bench Studio, the production house led by Karthikeyan Santhanam. The banner is planning to introduce four films to Telugu audiences, and Hide & Silk is the first step in that direction.
Produced by Karthikeyan Santhanam in association with Vartika Jain of Misrilall Pictures, the film features Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, known for Lubber Pandhu and DC, as the female lead.
The title glimpse immediately draws attention with its unusual storytelling approach. Suhas appears as a weaver working on a traditional loom, carefully crafting a saree. Tanikella Bharani’s voiceover adds depth to the visuals, presenting a poetic idea that every saree has a woman destined to wear it.
The concept gives the glimpse a special charm. Instead of treating a saree as just another piece of clothing, the film presents it as something connected to a woman through fate. This thought creates curiosity about how the idea will develop into a romantic narrative.
Suhas looks natural in the glimpse, and Sanjana Krishnamoorthy adds further appeal to the presentation. The traditional setting, thoughtful narration and understated visuals help the film establish a distinct identity without relying on conventional promotional elements.
On the technical front, Amrit Ramnath is composing the music, while Karthik Palani is handling the cinematography. Their work is expected to contribute to the film’s visual richness and emotional atmosphere.
