What was promised in TDP-JSP’s Election Manifesto?

Pawan Kalyan emerged as the true King Maker.

The stage is all clear to dethrone the incumbent Jagan Mohan Reddy as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in 2024 Assembly Elections.

Chandra Babu Naidu will most likely become the Chief Minister. In the new alliance, Pawan Kalyan became the new king maker orchestrating the very tough alliance by uniting Telugu Desam Party and Bharatiya Janata Party just to not split the votes.

‘Super Six’ Promises

  1. 20 Lakh jobs creation in the five years.
  2. Rs. 3,000 to every unemployed youth
  3. Rs. 15,000 for every school-going child under ‘Thalliki Vandhanam’
  4. Rs. 1,500 for every woman who is above 18 years old.
  5. Free travel for women in RTC buses.
  6. 3 free gas cylinders per home

Apart from these super six promises, the alliance has also promised Rs. 20,000 for farmers yearly to aid in their investment and 9 free electricity of 9 hours for farmers. The pension would be raised to Rs. 4,000. And, an additional support of Rs. 10 lakhs to small scale business persons.

BJP wasn’t directly involved in the process of making the manifesto. However, it unequivocally supported the manifesto.

As the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance is winning unexpectedly huge numbers, the expectations are high on how these promises will be delivered. The opposition YSRCP will also keenly scrutinise the new regime. Therefore, let’s wait and see how this new regime performs.
