'Sopathulu': ETV Win announces streaming date

‘Sopathulu’ is the title of an upcoming rural comedy to be streamed on ETV Win from September 19th. ‘Middle Class Melodies’ fame Vinod Anantoju is its producer.

Starring Bhanu Prakash, Srujan, Mani Aegurla, Mohan Bhagat, and Anusha Ramesh in pivotal roles, the direct-to-streamer release is helmed by Ananth Vardhan.

The story of the Telangana-based movie revolves around two nine-year-old girls who need a smartphone to attend online classes. The film explores their adventures and hardships in acquiring one. “All dialogues in ‘Sopathulu’ will be rooted, emotionally moving, and spot-on,” a report says. Sinjith Yerramil is its music director, while writer Kittu Vissapragada has also worked on the project.

ETV Win recently presented VK Naresh-Rag Mayur’s ‘Veeranjaneyulu Vihara Yatra’.

ETV Win is also making ‘Leela Vinodham’ with Shanmukh Jaswanth in the lead. Goparaju Ramana, Aamani, and Rupa Lakshmi, each of whom is a movie artist, are playing important roles. Shravanthi Anand, RJ Saran, Mahendar, Shiva Thummala, Madhan Mohan, and Chaitanya Garikina will also be seen. Its release date is yet to be announced.
