Sudheer Babu’s ‘Harom Hara’ is directed by Gnanasagar Dwaraka. The action thriller with a spiritual element will be a June 14th release.
In this major release of the week, the ‘Sammohanam’ and ‘V’ actor plays an underdog who climbs the ranks to become a powerful kingpin in 1990s Kuppam. Nicknamed the Gunsmith, he builds his empire on the manufacturing of weapons.
Why Kuppam? The director of the film says that he was raised in a village near Kuppam and thoroughly knows its local flavour informed by the cultures of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Even the film’s title has something to do with the religious influences known to the region.
Producer Sumanth G Naidu of Sree Subrahmanyeshwara Cinemas recently screened ‘Harom Hara’ to a few industry persons, including those at Mythri Movie Makers. The feedback has been positive.
