Under the banner of VRP Creations and presented by P. Padmavati, the upcoming film Pinky is set to feature Suman, Subhalekha Sudhakar, and Ravi Atluri in the lead roles of Kiran and Mauryani. Produced by Pasupuleti Venkata Ramana and directed by Seerapu Ravi Kumar, the film is gearing up for a grand release in the first week of February. A press meet was organized today in Philinchamber to mark the occasion, with the film unit and guests Prasanna Kumar, Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana, and Sai Venkat in attendance.
Producer Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana expressed his thoughts, stating, “Director and producer Pasupuleti Venkata Ramana has a knack for story-driven films. It’s commendable that he, being a director himself, is providing an opportunity for another director. He expressed his hopes for the success of their upcoming film Pinky.”
Guest Sai Venkat praised Venkata Ramana’s success with the film Janam and commended his encouragement for another director with Pinky. He noted, “The poster indicates that Suman is taking on a unique role. My best wishes to the entire team of this film.”
Actor Ravi Atluri conveyed his gratitude, saying, “Thanks to the director and producers for encouraging me to portray the role of a senior artist in this film.”
Hero Kiran expressed his gratitude, stating, “I am thankful to the director and producers for giving me the opportunity to be the hero in this film. The director has brilliantly captured the essence of the film, and I am eagerly awaiting its release.”
Director Seerapu Ravi Kumar shared insights about the film, stating, “This is my first film, and the producer spared no effort, ensuring the film turned out well. Pinky revolves around the quest for a diamond and is a family suspense thriller.”
Producer Pasupuleti Venkata Ramana provided insights into his journey, saying, “After working with celebrities in Lomadras in 1980, I went on to produce Janam Pictures under my own direction. Presently, Janam Part 2 is in production. I appreciated the story presented by Seerapu Ravi Kumar and produced a film titled ‘Pinky.’ The shoot is already completed, and we are undergoing censor work. Our plan is to release it in the first week of February. The film is directed by Annie Thanai.”
Producer Council Secretary Prasanna Kumar extended his wishes, saying, “Many films with the title Pinky in different languages have achieved great success and received numerous awards. I wish success to this film with such a captivating title. Venkata Ramana is consistently producing films and giving new directors an opportunity. Supporting films that provide opportunities to newcomers will create more opportunities. Looking at the poster, it’s evident that Ravikumar has crafted the film with a compelling concept. The cast includes Kiran, Mauryani, Suman, Shubhalekha Sudhakar, Ravi, among others. The film’s technical team includes DoP Amar, Editor Nani Carumanchi, Music by Chinna (Chennai), PR by Oh Box Office Ramesh, and Co-Producer MB (Mallibabu). Dr. Saimalli Arun Ram serves as Co-Producer, with Pasupuleti Venkata Ramana handling production. Seerapu Ravikumar is responsible for Story-Screenplay-Dialogues and Direction.
