Produced by Kona Venkat under Kona Films Corporation in collaboration with MVV Cinemas, this milestone 50th film for Anjali sees her reprising the lead role in this horror-comedy. Continuing the successful formula of its predecessor, the sequel promises to deliver thrills and laughs.
The makers are sparing no expense, ensuring that “Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi” is a high-budget venture in the horror-comedy genre. To kick off the new year in 2024, a special poster has been unveiled. Anjali captivates in a Kuchipudi pose, dancing within a weathered building, raising anticipation for this chilling yet entertaining thriller.
Picking up where “Geethanjali” left off, the sequel is set to release across India in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam in early 2024. Joining Anjali in the lead roles are Srinivas Reddy, Satyam Rajesh, Shakalaka Shankar, Satya, Sunil, Ravi Shankar, Srikanth Iyyengar, and the popular Malayalam actor Rahul Madhav, marking his Telugu debut.
The storyline will unfold across Hyderabad and Ooty, and filming has already commenced at a rapid pace, aiming to captivate audiences with its fresh storyline and familiar team. With Kona Film Corporation’s commitment to nurturing emerging talent, this movie marks a significant stride.
Stepping into the directorial role for this film is Atlanta-based choreographer Shiva Thurlapati, known for his work in “Ninnu Kori” and “Nishabdam.” The movie is being bankrolled by MVV Cinema and Kona Film Corporation, with music by Pravin Lakkaraju and cinematography by Suhatha Siddhartha. Kona Venkat has penned the story, and the movie promises to replicate the success of its predecessor with its stellar team and captivating narrative.
