Macho Hero Gopichand Most Awaited Unique Action Entertainer Bhimaa. A Harsha is directing this movie. Produced lavishly by KK Radhamohan under the banner of Sri Sathya Sai Arts. The film will have a grand worldwide release on the occasion of Maha Shivratri on March 8. In this context, hero Gopichand shared the features of the film in a press conference.
How did the ‘Bhimaa’ journey begin?
Sridhar Garu, the producer of this movie, introduced director Harsha during Covid. Then Harsha told a story in pace time. The story is good, but at a time like this, it is not needed. Contact the police and tell them if there is a different story. Bhima told the ‘story’ after taking a gap of eight months. Loved the story and Bhima’s characterization. I also liked the semi-fantasy element of the story. That’s how insurance started.
‘Bhimaa’ is said by Brahma Raksha.. What will the role be like?
It is said that Brahmaraksha must come to kill the demon. Bhima is a commercial packed movie. There is a lot of intensity in Bhima’s role. Love, emotions, romance have all the elements. There is a belief that after watching the movie, Bhima will stand in the mind of the audience. The director has blended the semi-fantasy element very well in this story. There is a wonderful emotion in every action sequence. There is a belief that the audience will like that emotion.
You have already done police roles.. What is the difference in insurance for them?
Different cop in Golimar. Andhradu is based on a love story but its background is a police story. Bravery is also a different story. Bhima is a completely different character for these three films. The semi-fantasy element is very new in a police story like this. That’s what got me so interested. There is a belief that the audience will also like it.
A lot of people are saying ‘Akhanda’.. Don’t you feel that when you hear the story?
No. Aghoras, color palette, music may seem so but Bhima is a completely different story. But really better than ‘Akhanda’ (laughs). The story takes place in Bhima Parasuramkshetra. That is why we have taken such a background.
What inputs did you give when you heard Bhima’s story?
After listening to the story I said what I felt. But Harsha is a very experienced director. He took it very well. He played a very interesting screenplay. It is very gripping, the twists and semi-fantasy elements are very new. The name of the hero character is Bhima. This story has been given the same name as Appt.
How are the roles of Priya Bhavani Shankar and Malvika Sharma?
Priya Bhavani Shankar and Malavika Sharma are two important characters in the movie. The characters needed for the story. Characters have a purpose.
About Ravi Basrur’s music?
The music in the trailer is amazing. There is more than that in the movie. He worked with dedication to give good music.
The film has Shiva as its background. The movie will come on Maha Shivratri.. have you planned this?

About producer Radhamohan?
Radha Mohan is very close to me. I have done the movie Pantham with him in the past. We are very friendly. He is a gentleman. The movie was made in a very grand manner.
Are you thinking of directing like your father?
Directing is a very difficult job. I can’t do that.
Are you planning to do a movie with Prabhas?
We have always wanted to do a film together. I don’t know when that time will come. But surely we will.
About new movies?
The movie with Srinu Vaitla is 30% complete. Later there will be a film with Prasad. A story is being worked on with Radha. It is in UV Creations.
