Starring as the lead in the captivating web series “Miss Perfect,” alongside Abhijeet of Bigg Boss fame, Lavanya Tripathi recently expressed her excitement about the project in an interview. Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda under the Annapurna Studios banner and directed by Vishwak Khanderao, “Miss Perfect” is currently available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
Tripathi commended the series for its talented cast and highlighted the engaging script, which seamlessly blends romantic and comedic elements. She emphasized the diversity in the characters, portraying Miss Lavanya and Lakshmi, both of whom resonate closely with her personal life. Tripathi appreciated the opportunity to explore such multifaceted roles, seeking diversity in her acting career.
Reflecting on her career post-marriage to Varun Tej, Tripathi clarified that joining the mega family did not impact her professional freedom, and she continues to make independent career decisions. She praised her understanding partner, Varun, who appreciates her work and even shared his thoughts on “Miss Perfect” on Instagram. Tripathi values the support and autonomy she receives in her professional life.
Working with director Vishwak Khanderao, Tripathi found the experience refreshing and delightful. She highlighted Khanderao’s distinctive writing and collaborative approach on set. Despite having previously worked on thriller series and dark thrillers, transitioning to a romantic comedy like “Miss Perfect” was a welcomed change. Tripathi acknowledged the challenge of mastering dialogue delivery but expressed satisfaction with the overall experience.
Tripathi also discussed her positive experiences with reputable production companies, including Hotstar and Annapurna. With Ayodhya being her hometown, she celebrated the construction of Lord Rama’s temple as a significant achievement. Looking ahead, Tripathi revealed her completion of a film with a new actor under People Media Factory, where she plays a police officer, and her ongoing work on a Tamil movie.
