Saindhav Teaser: Blending the flavors of Pan-India and OTTs.

Saindhav Teaser: Blending the flavors of Pan-India and OTTs.

The Southpaw actor Victory Venkatesh’s upcoming 75th movie Saindhav teaser directed by Sailesh Kolanu on “Niharika Entertainment” has been dropped with a lot of intensity and brutality in it. Venkatesh along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui have played prominent roles as protagonist and antagonist respectively. The soul of the teaser is entirely carried out by Power, Money, Drugs, and weapons. The teaser revealed Nawaz to supply human weapons to anti-social elements and Venkatesh to stop it.

Venkatesh is showcased as a complete family man with his wife and daughter in the initial few moments of the teaser but only to recall to stop a calamity by his superior in the past or his Personal agenda which might or might not include his wife/daughter into trouble which might trigger very strong emotions.

It’s completely a new version of experienced and experimental Venkatesh to be seen in the movie like never before and more of upgraded version roles played in “Gharshana”, and “Guru” from the past. Looks wise Venkatesh looked much younger and energetic compared to his previous movies.

Speaking about the movie on the teaser launch Venkatesh spoke that he had waited for a good story to come forward to his fans and audience in recent times and he finally found it in the form of “Saindhav”. Also the last ending phrases “He is coming back”, “To show the bad”, Who’s their dad”, “Make some way”, “Right away”, “He is gonna slay”, “He is here to stay”, implies that Venkatesh might have a past/flashback now living in exile but returned to fight crime for some reason.

Usually, movies have a greater impact on other entertainment media but the current going trend shows the raw impact of OTTs on theatrical cinema. Most of the teaser seemed influenced by the lead roles of “Rana Naidu” and “Sacred Games” by Venkatesh and Nawaz respectively.

Also, the director carefully planned to include Nawazuddin in this flick as he got popular due to similar storied Ott’s where the terms “Cartels and”, “Drugs”, etc are extensively used. It’s the Director’s brilliance to rope Nawaz in such a similar character which will ease establish the story to the “Pan-India” audience from the word go.

D.O.P by “Manikandan” is top notch and Music “Santhosh Narayan” is note-worthy.
